WordPress is much like Microsoft Windows: very popular and really quite secure, but a hot target for hackers to go after. With over 35% of the web running on WordPress, hackers are always looking for a way to get into your installation.

Fortunately, with thousands of developers backing it, any security holes that are discovered in WordPress are fixed almost instantly.

Therefore it is important that you update your WordPress, plugins and theme to be able to take advantage of each fix. It is equally important to make a backup of your WordPress website regularly.

You can opt to purchase a maintenance contract with Artvaark Design and we will take care of these updates and backups as well as continue support.

A maintenance contract is optional, so if you choose to update your website yourself we will send you instructions on how to do this. You will need to check your website at least once a week to find out if there are any updates to WordPress, plugins or the theme. In case of no maintenance contract, any technical support from us will be charged at €50/hour with a minimum of €50/request.

We charge €15/month for a maintenance contract. This Maintenance Contract will be paid for annually (€180) and will include technical support which is solely done by email to you, not to any third party.

Maintenance also includes monthly website backups, plugin and WordPress updates, and cosmetic changes (if needed) but it does not include the day-to-day running of the website. This should be done by you.

It might be that you have a website already but don’t have the time or knowledge to maintain it. We can maintain your website for you. We have experience with a multitude of Content Management Systems like Drupal, Joomla, Weebly, CMS Made Simple, as well as E-Commerce systems like Open Cart, Presta Shop, Magento etc.
