Hi, my name is Jeroen Bos ( you can pronounce it Your own boss* and, you’ve guessed it, I am my own boss.)

I have my own graphic– and web design studio, Artvaark Design, in West Clare, Ireland.

* The proper way to pronounce my name would be something like Yaroon

a bit of history

I am originally from The Netherlands, where I worked as a litho printer and later as a graphic designer. After moving to Ireland with my family I started Artvaark Design in 2000.

Since then I have been designing graphics and websites and have been working on promoting businesses and individuals in the whole of Ireland.

the projects I like

As in any type of work you get to do things you like and things you don’t like that much. I am not going to tell you what I don’t like, because I want to take on any job 🙂 but there are some projects I am always looking forward to.

First of all, I love creating books and reports. I am good at working with typography and love to bring order in chaos making books and reports easier to read with a consistent layout and clean design.

My second favourite is creating maps. I like spending hours drawing lines and dreaming away following the roads that I am drawing.
